Let Them Have Life; An Appeal To President Goodluck Jonathan. by RICHIEBOI1(m): 8:22am On Sep 18, 2014
The 12 youths of Nigeria (in Army) recently sentenced to death on allegations of MUTINY in an Army Camp, must not be made to regret serving Nigeria. Brig. Gen. Okwonkwo, Lt. Gen. Minima and President Goodluck Jonathan GCFR, must not allow these poor ones to die unceremoniously and ignominiously, just like that. They are too young.
They are not guilty; they only shot into the air when they saw the Youth-Enemy-Commandant, who had ordered them to go along Sambisa path, at a deadly hour, come in the morning to confirm the death of their beloved colleagues, poor ones, who had joined Army at very tender age in a battered economy.
They had only pleaded that they leave in the morning, since the terrain was a flash spot. The Youth-Enemy-Commandant ordered that they must leave in the dead of the night- they obeyed, and so many of them were massacred by Boko Haram. It was a costly obedience.
Please, Nigeria, the Death Sentence passed on the remaining 12 youths of Nigeria (in Army) by Brig. Gen. Okonkwo of the Army Supreme Court must as a matter of urgent civic and national concern be rescinded. Commute these to some other corporal punishment and probably summary dismissal.
