A leading traditional musician of Ekiti origin, Chief Peter Ogunyemi, popularly known nationwide as Elemure Ogunyemi, is dead. Ogunyemi, a septuagenarian, died in the early hours of Thursday. ...May his soul rest in perfect peace... I can still remember listening and dancing to his music when i was very young.... Especially....'Elemure mo de ooo, Ogunyemi mo ibo oooo''.... I love his voice etc....I love Ekiti accent and intonation.... |

RIP to the dead.. I so love his brand of music... I was opportuned to be at one of his shows in 1995, December. It was indeed fun.. The memory still lingers |
