Former vice president Atiku Abubakar plans to formally declare his presidential ambition on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) within the next few days according to information gathered from Nigerian Tribune.
The former vice president’s declaration is, however, coming against the backdrop of his bid being endorsed by a South-west caucus of the APC.
In a statement made available to newsmen by his media office in Abuja, the former vice president said he would make his formal declaration at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, by10.00 a.m.
According to the statement, “the activities marking the declaration would be a largely youth-focused event to emphasise Atiku’s passion for the challenges facing young men and women in the country.”

In another development, Vanguard News reports that ahead of the 2015 presidential election, Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, has submitted a letter of intent to the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, just as he intensified consultations with stakeholders across the country, including former Presidents.

Atiku is another name for stealing. In as much as I don't want GEJ to continue beyond 2015, I rather see him in office than see Atiku become president. Atiku reminds me of Mitt Romney. They both think they've got it all and the only thing left in life for them is to become president.

Atiku for where; even APC can't make the mistake of making him their flagbearer. He's neither here nor there politically #Chameleon. Infact he has never contested any election and won in his life. This' man is not even sure of winning his home state(Adamawa). Rooting for Oshiomhole anyday; anytime. I smell panic in GEJ camp!
