Ekiti state post election drama took a terrible turn TONIGHT as the Ex Chairman of NURTW and a renown political thug of Governor Elect Fayose,Omolafe Aderiye was shot dead at the Ijigbo area of Ado Ekiti.

According to a report "Mr. Aderiye was on his way home when the gunmen numbering about four accosted and shot him at close range.
Mr. Aderiye, a staunch supporter of Governor-elect, Ayodele Fayose was part of Mr. Fayose’s team that attacked a state high court judge earlier in the day."
Omolafe Aderiye who eye witnesses said led the Monday invasion of the court,also accompanied Fayose during the disruption of the court proceedings earlier today.
A popular Driver Union leader and the reigning Chairman during Fayose First tenure,Omolafe has been in the fore front of Fayose Political Battles since 2006.
1.April 22, 2006,he was accused of leading the thugs that assisted in the Rigging of Ekiti South Federal Constituency Elections to House of Rep. (http:///iv7YxE)

As the news of Lafe's death filtered out,some drivers already took to the streets sending panic signals that made all shops around Ijigbo/Post Office/Fajuyi/Dallimore areas to close on time.
