Head Coach Stephen Keshi has named goalkeeper and skipper Vincent Enyeama and 23 others for next month’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations must-win qualifying tango away and home to Sudan.
Both teams clash at in Khartoum on Saturday, 11th October before trading tackles at the National Stadium, Abuja four days later.
Keshi has also included a hatful of new faces, including former junior international RaheemLawal, China –based striker Aaron Samuel and relatively unknown AnyoraUgonna, who plays in Norway.
There are also opportunities for World Cup star-boy Babatunde Michael, back from injury, Reading of England’s Hope Akpan and Austria –based forward Sunday Emmanuel.
African champions Nigeria must win both matches against pointless Sudan next month to have any realistic chance of reaching the finals in Morocco early next year.

I wonder why he hasn't forgiven Mba or maybe its just cos he plays in the 3rd division, Brown Ideye too should be given a look-in.

I think what this team lacks isn't a good coach but rather passionate players. I don't know if thats why i'm seeing names of many hungry players but he should have stuck with the proven ones like Mba.
Good to see babatunde back and congrats to Hope Akpan, his invitation has been long overdue.

Good part of this list is the return of a currently in-form victor moses,Inclusion of Hope Akpan/raheem lawal(decent defensive midfielders needed to give onazi more freedom in midfield).Though, dont be surprised if keshi decides to play either of both behind emenike as the attacking/creative midfielder over Sone aluko.

Bad part is:-Emenike is currently experiencing a drought and not in form.And as seen from our games against congo and SA,We badly needed another clinical finisher to at least support emenike.So who does keshi invite ?.

Keshi is trying really hard to ensure that the eagles miss the trip to Morocco next year...I'd love him to succeed so we can get a new coach and finally see the back of Egwuekwe , Agbim , Efe Ambrose at RB and 4-3-3.
