In the spirit of celebrating Nigeria's independence at 54, Television Continental via "your view" morning show interviewed the business guru, Prof. Pat Utomi side-by-side Ebenezer Obe.

A question was asked on whether we have a Nigeria of our dreams which got Prof. Pat Utomi responding to it after presenter Sandra Eze shared her own dreams for Nigeria where she expects the standard of education obtained in Nigeria to be equal to that obtained in the developed nations of the world.

He (Prof. Pat Utomi) said, "in the 1960s during the Tafawa Balewa regime, Saudi Arabia, where the former (late) president, Umaru Yar'Adua died, came to the University of Ibadan to seek medical care and knowledge." He also said that it was easier gaining admissions to study in Harvard University in the United States than gaining one in Nigeria. Now, I ask, what really happened to the system and what is your dream for Nigeria as it turns 54?
