Pls how lucrative is meatpie business? Can some one give me a breakdown of what is involve?

I am thinking of starting the baked snacks business. I plan to employ just one lady for now, somebody young and active. I will have to get an oven; a smaller, cheaper one, with flour, sugar, butter, eggs, in bulk. I suspect my challenges will be in registration of trademark, branded packaging, pricing and supply. to cut costs, I thought of having brand name with mobile number on a paper roll out I can keep cutting off to staple to the nylon wrap...for each pie, or fish roll, or bunch of buns....pricing has to be cheap for my start up target cache. this will directly contrast quality, because quality must be superb, international standard. one hundred naira per snack, and am making them big size. civil servants in secretariat first. I realise my start up capital might be bigger than it should be, but quality sells itself. any advice for me is much appreciated! thanks

mince pie is very lucrative , thou stressful but worth it. if u are serious about it depending on the location u will make ur cool cash, av done it b4 in Ilorin to be precise apart from doing it happily , I got cool cash from it. Start by making small quantities because meatpies go bad easily, to avoid losses.
When you've built your customer base, you can increase the quantity you make.
