Most of us especially the blackpeople of the planet earth expect Jesus to come or the coming of the dreadful day of The LORD. before that happen a prophet is sent. Malachi 4: 5,6

4:5- Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

4:6- And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

And in Matthew 11:14

11:14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

in different bible version, Elias, in another it is Elijah and in another, it is John himself Elijah.

we all know what Elias means

and john, it's when the whiteman doesn't have a name for somebody, they call him John Doe.

there is no record of elijah dieing, or Enoch and we are not given any details of where Moses died.

However be the case, Elijah had been here, he did what he was sent to do, revealing all the truth hidden to humankind, and enjoining sons to their fathers.
