"We say it is Indian hair or Brazilian hair, but in fact it is normally Chinese hair or even goat hair. They never realise.

"I laugh a lot when I go home and I know that the beautiful women of Kampala have goats on their heads."

The plot thickens when you realise that black women buy hair shaved off in sacrifice to indian Hindu gods as human hair

Is the Hindu god happy that his property (the sacrifice of hair) is being reprocessed and repackaged as human hair ?

From Hindu temple to Hollywood hairdo: How thousands of Indian women have their heads shaved to please the gods... only for the hair to end up as £3,000 extensions

[quote author=Homguy post=27047031] so because your hair is thick and difficult to comb(when due for retouching) means you must buy Brazilian hair to augment it? No decent artificial hair extensions? The point of this thread is not to discuss the usage of hair extensions, but the level of Vanity and mediocrity expressed by doling out large chunks of cash(esp in this clime) just to have another persons hair on your head, which might even not be human hair but, animal hair.[r/quote]
as long as its my hair and I can afford whatever extension I intend to use on it. I don't see any reason why it should be a problem to anybody....some guys should just learn to mind their business.

or if you think it's as easy as u make it seem..why not try growing ur own hair and see what's involved.

But why will any human being desire to sew/attach a total stranger's hair on hers?. Someone of unknown origin, background, destiny, and so on. I worry and really hope that our female folks will shine their eyes and be happy and content with what we are created with. I even heard from a credible source that in India, d women who want to shave their hair first do so by saceificing it to their gods in its temple b4 shaving after which it is sold to buyers. Only God knows d effect of what is done in d temple on d women that later buy and use such hair. I think its somtin worth thinking about.

I'm glad to enjoy my beautiful hair without the fake shit.I know the truth about fake hair through my chinese in law around age five.Perm isn't good, either. It mess up your head, liver and kidney. Some black women contain self hatred from the media and older generation pass this poison practice. My mom is bullying me to perm/weave my child's hair.NO! I want my girl to love her roots. Our bond is stain over modern day euro vanity

Some men don't like natural and kinky hair.Me and my friend was bully to dislike ourselves around my middle school years by black boys.Note:Diversity. I enjoy my all black elementary without being tease. We wouldn't allow to wear weave. We is allow to wear soft yarn as braids. Middle and High School was hundred percent bully by black boys for keeping my hair natural. Only ones that love my hair is natural groups and latino/white boys. The girls just want us perm or fake hair to avoid the abuse from the boys
