Richard Ellef Ayoade

Richard Ayoade is a British actor, comedian, broadcaster and filmmaker. He is best known for his role as socially awkward IT technician Maurice Moss in Channel 4 sitcom, The IT Crowd (2006–2013), for which he won the 2014 BAFTA for Best Male Comedy Performance.

Richard was born in the Hammersmith district of London on 23 May 1977, the son of a Norwegian mother and Nigerian father. The family moved to Ipswich when he was young. At the age of 15, he developed an interest in film "beyond Star Wars and Back to the Future" and began exploring the works of directors Woody Allen, Ingmar Bergman, and Federico Fellini.

In 2008, Ayoade won the award for an outstanding actor in a television comedy series at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival for his performance.

Sade Adu

Helen Folasade Adu is known professionally as Sade Adu or simply Sade. She is a Nigerian-born British singer, songwriter, and actress, known as the lead singer of her eponymous band. One of the most successful British female artists in history, she is often recognised as an influence on contemporary music.

Sade was born in Ibadan, Nigeria, and brought up partly in Essex, England, from the age of four. She studied at Saint Martin's School of Art in London and gained modest recognition as a fashion designer and part-time model, prior to joining the band Pride in the early 1980s.

After gaining attention as a performer, she formed the band Sade, and secured a recording contract with Epic Records in 1983. A year later the band released the album Diamond Life, which became one of the best-selling albums of the era, and the best-selling debut by a British female vocalist.

Dax

Dax real names are Daniel Nwosu Jr. Born on March 22, 1994, in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador to Nigerian immigrants of Igbo ancestry.

He grew up in Ottawa and moved to Wichita to attend university, and he later moved to Los Angeles, California. He attended the Newman University, where he played guard for the Newman Jets basketball team.
He initially wrote poetry and was a motivational speaker prior to pursuing a rap career.

Tyler the Creator

His real names are Tyler Gregory Okonma. Born on March 6, 1991, in Hawthorne, California, he is the son of a Nigerian father with Ibibio ancestry and an American mother of mixed African-American and European-Canadian descent. He never met his father though, he spent his early life living in Hawthorne, and then moved to Ladera Heights at 17.
Okonma co-founded the alternative hip hop collective Odd Future in 2007.

Chi Modu

The man behind all the iconic 90's hip hop photos was Chi Modu, hailed from Arondiziogwu, Anambra State Nigeria.

He was born in Nigeria and raised in New Jersey, Modu graduated with an economics degree in 1989 from Rutgers University and received a certificate in photojournalism and documentary photography in 1992. His first photography job was with the New York Amsterdam News, based in Harlem.

Chi first picked up a camera while a student at Rutgers. After honing his skills at the International Center of Photography, he landed at The Source, which was the definitive magazine of hip hop culture. It was there that Chi developed relationships with the biggest icons of the hip hop movement, Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G, Mary J. Blige, and L-L Cool J, Dr Dre Snoop Dogg etc. most of whom were not yet famous.
