Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has taken to his Instagram account to pay tribute to the supporters who have made a banner in his honour.
The Italian, signed for £16million from AC Milan in August, has scored just once for his new side, and that would call in for a lot of criticism since his return to the English game.

But Reds fans are getting behind the 24-year-old with a new banner in honour of the striker."I have nothing to declare but my genius," reads the banner, written in Italian with a picture of Balotelli.

The banner is displayed below the scoreboard at Anfield.
