They are both rock bands, alternative rock to be specific and have both followed the trend of alt. rock unlike linkin park, hoobastank, red hot chilli peppers...etc , they both have good front men, Bono and Chris, great guitarists also multiple awards, I've always preferred Coldplay but U2's Songs of Innocence is far better than Coldplay's Ghost Stories...anyways reply...just my view |

How can you compared U2 and coldplay? U2 is far better. You should compare coldplay with Travis, which I believe Travis is better. |

Currently Travis is nowhere, their last good album was 12 memories besides they've never won a Grammy, I'm talking current albums of U2 and coldplay ...and your reception anyways Travis!..nice one man |
