I really don't understand Nigerian hiphop these days, everything now sounds foreign which is "unreal" to me,cos we're Africans! We should do our songs our own way,I find it funny seeing rappers these days using lyrics like "nigga" "I don't give a Bleep" "shit" why use such lyrics? are we Americans? No!! Even the beats these days also sound foreign. The bottomline is we should try using our own culture/style in our music. What do you all think?

@OP I can't say I disagree with your views. What saddens me most is the way our rappers have lost their wit.Their lyrics used to be so witty and funny. Not anymore.Nowadays, its all about the bling. Its either we flow with the punches or we die out
