femicyrus:When mobile phone came to Nigeria, it was a big deal, it was for the high and mighty, it was a status thing to own one, but gradually all of that changed and you are now singing a new song. We will get to that point with the auto soon, we are just starting my dear. Even clerks in my office who earn less than N30,000.00 monthly own cars. What then are you blabbing about? Nigerians also need to change the mentality that owning a car is exclusively for the rich. You see peeps condemning others for buying a car instead of building a house first. They also make snide comments when someone buys a car as if its a big deal. Until those thinking patterns change, we'ld always he in the doldrums. How many workers earning similar wages in other countries can buy cars. Don't talk like a morroof, please. If your earnings cannot afford you ceratin here in Nigeria, I believe those in other countries earning similar wages too may not be able to aford those things. Things may be bad in Nigeria, but they are certainly not as bad as you are making it look. 3 Likes |

Irritating!!! Have you seen any political office-holder ride in this thing? They only have it in their convoy as escort cars. i.e. only drivers and police aides ride the Innosson Cars. The only Made in Nigeria cars they are comfortable riding in is the Nissan Patrol. As a matter of fact, The Secretary General of TETFUND has the Innosson SUV and the Nissan Patrol. Sorry, the IVM is strictly an escort vehicle. Dont be deceived. Even the IG of Police with all his 12 car escort doesnt have One (1) IVM in his motorcade. Its all BMW and Ford. Dont get it twisted, I love Made (coupled) in Nigeria cars. But lets not be shallow about some lousy policy that isnt CREATING VALUE TO THE ECONOMY. Value is created when we can export it. Made in Nigeria and consumed in nigeria is simply deferring the cost of externalities to a future date. 1 Like |

XketchDesigns: Stop laughing at your ignorance, my friend! There is absolutely nothing wrong with that statement. Any automobile assembled/manufactured in any country is made in that country. Any car manufactured in Nigeria is "Made in Nigeria"! Innoson is a Nigerian brand and must be encouraged. Honda is Japanese and not an American brand but when manufactured in America it's "Manufactured by Honda America" Which is the same as "Made in America". So, what's your problem about that?? 9 Likes 1 Share |

XketchDesigns:All car are assembled my friend. Even in countries where cars are being manufactured they still build parts at different assembly lines before bringing them all together. infatct, alot of the parts are manufacture by different companies and sold to the vehicle manufacturers. 1 Like |

Arnoldo:so its the minister that will allocate money for the generation of electricity abi? And were you not there when he promised to stabilised the electricity before 2015? Or aint you listening to news when EFCC is withdrawing cases agianst politicians that are supporting jonathan? Under jonathan, EFCC is now useless to the extent of prosecuting people that involves in illegal fishing instead of prosecuting the politicians. Abeg jonathan is a failure. And instead of building new refineries, hes removing subsidy and i even read that he will remove it totally when he enters for second tenure. |

Innoson, a billionaire by selling poorly assembled vehicles and encouraging FG to institutionalise them. Waitng to see an innoson vehicle that has lasted 4 years. Leo Stan Eke, CEO Zinox, a billionaire by using lowest quality computer parts and packaging them as PCs. FG was one of his main supporters. While working in the bank, I remember when we used Zinox for 3 months and went back to HP Dangote, a billionaire by selling quality food products Adenuga, a billionaire by providing quality telecoms services. The question here is why is it that Easterners delight in compromising quality just to make money? |
