It is characteristic of adults to ask young people what they want to become in life, the career they want to pursue.

Find a typical Scenario:

Uncle: Babatunde, what do you want to study in the University?
Babatunde: I want to be an Aeronautic Engineer.

Uncle: What does an Aeronautic Engineer do?
Babatunde: They work in the aviation industry, and……………… (He has an idea but gives a vague answer)

Uncle: That is a good attempt, Aeronautic Engineering is the study of how aircraft are designed, constructed and powered……………… (He gives the child an insight and advice).

Many adults are appalled by the negative use some teens, youths put the internet: watch pornography, sex-chat, waste ample time on unproductive social media activities etc but forget to ask what effort they are making, have made to provide, contribute useful content on the internet.

Many adults are “toddlers” on the internet……….. Just there to consume information provided by others.

Let me remind us that porn and other information on the internet are not provided by robots. They are provided by humans.

WE LIVE IN THREE WORLDS - THE SPIRITUAL, PHYSICAL AND ELECTRONIC.

It is not enough to say the young people use the internet negatively, when you as an adult is doing little or nothing to provide valuable, useful information online. Don’t forget that the internet (eWorld) is now an integral part of our lives.
