Job description : BSS Senior Engineer
, Duration: 6 months
Position: BSS O&M Senior Engineer
Skills: Familiar with all areas of BSC operation and maintenance, good understanding of DTs and IDBs associated with setup of RBS, Experience in BSC S/W upgrades, very good communication skills, god understanding of processes involved and able to see improvement areas.
Scope of work:
-Check and analyze system alarms/faults and recommend solutions
Analyze transmission quality and suggest solutions for improvement
-Analyze network expansion, reconfiguration and parameter changes process and recommend improvements
- Analyze KPIs for measuring system availability, down time and HW faults
- Investigate and recommend solutions for SW/HW problems covering BSS elements
- Audit parameters and timers in BSS network, check for inconsistencies and recommend optimized values
- To support site technicians in RBS troubleshooting.
- To prepare and execute scripts for major cell’s reconfigurations.
- To support RF Engineers in cell’s parameter changes.
