Oyo state electorates have never returned a serving governor back to his post in its history, oyo politics has been described as one of the most unpredictable in Nigeria with it's attendant unpredictability of the electorates in the state.ajimobi is already assured of flying the apc flag in the race while rasheed ladoja is also set to contest under the accord party but what seems to be unassured is the pdp gubernatorial candidate with people like the former Senate leader teslim folarin,former governor alao akala and newcomer seyi makinde as the frontrunners in the pdp.though ajimobi has performed creditably well compared with past administrations in the state,he is not yet assured of winning the election but apc seems to have a brighter chance but it's never sure of winning the election.

What has Ajimodi done in Oyo state that made him perform more than the former admis. He is the was that has ever happen in oyo.
