PrettySpicey is a wonderful writer so at this juncture I must make a complaint. Her readers don't give her the appreciation she rightly deserves. I never expected to win being a new comer and all and being in such a race with her.

I was on PRETTYSPICEY' s thread and I discovered the ocean of fans she's got.

As u all knw dat I joined Nairaland not too long ago and I notice some things in this very thread! "Fans don't motivate writers at all" and yet we act as if we are paying them for it! I don't really knw how the thing is done ooo but I was very disappointed dat despite all the numerous comment we make on dis thread, few of us have the time to vote for our beloved writers!

Take a look at Romance section 'Miss Nairaland Award' I'm pretty sure it has clocked up to hundred pages in just a week!
#i don't really knw wat to say but let us put ourself in their shoes cos I believe that to whom much is given, much is expected and dat shud be the least thing we can do 4 our writers to motivate them....

truth be told, I dnt knw when d nomination/voting started and I guess there re so many pple like me too. All d same, thz to d organizers of this awards and I'm glad Audrey timms won. Pretty spicey, TiffanyJ, Princesa(even if u dey fall my hand), Queenxter, Repogirl are also great romance writers. May God bless u(writers) all. #hugsnkisses#
