for magazines I doubt if there is. with Corel u can do amazing designs

No sir. Specifically for Magazines Designs, it best with Adobe InDesign and or Publisher. CorelDraw is basically for drawings, but with advance technology u can do a lot wit it.

My personal experience about CorelDraw which may help people that want to perfect their skill on it.

I read Civil Engineering many years back but before I got a job with my profession I had an opportunity to stay with an Uncle who has a printing press in Abuja (UTC Complex) where I met with Gurus in graphics design and learnt Graphic design fast from them.

The best way to perfect ur design is to learn it from people with deep experience. Buying of tutorials may not really help. Though am fully focus in what I read in school but those years of learning and using CorelDraw can't be forgotten in a hurry.
