I have had gearbox problem with a couple of cars. A honda Accord 95 (Academy) and a CRV 2004. I changed the gearbox for the academy. It developed fault less than 3 months after. The mechanics (not 1) confirmed it was a good and perfect match of the former gearbox. Another set of mechanics changed the gearbox again. I gave it to this set because they worked on the gearbox of the CRV so perfectly, that you hardly know there has ever been a problem. But I never enjoyed the car (Academy) again. I loved that car. I gave it out. But the man using it now has been enjoying that car. For the CRV, I did not change the gearbox, the mechanics worked it. I paid them 70k instead of the 170k that was required to change it. It works fine as ever. I live in Abuja. CONCLUSION: If I use a car for 3 years (OR the age of the car is greater than or equal to 15) and it starts giving gearbox issues, no matter how much I love the car, I will give it away. You may end up spending more than you envisage. |

@poster You have posted conflicting pictures for the interior and the engine. The 1st engine can never be that of a bulldog(3.0 vtec?). Some of the interior pictures are also not of bulldog family(94/95/97). Please do your homework well before coming to the market. Not everyone will , |
@cooldud62* I've replied to the given email address. |

A leading research institution in Ibadan needs the services of a computer engineer. Interestingly, you can negotiate your pay/level, contrary to the norms in government institutions. However, you must 1. Be a graduate of COMPUTER ENGINEERING to be considered 2. Have at least 2 years post qualification experience to be considered (up to 6 or more years exp is a big advantage for negotiations) 3. Be able to troubleshoot and succesfully repair system units, monitors(CRT&LCD), printers, and UPS within the shortest possible time 4. Be able use and support common software applications (MS Office, Adobe Pagemaker, SPSS, SAS). the last 2 are not mandatory. 5. Be able to administer a Windows network without stress and ensure the Internet connection is up at least 95%. You must be ready to give acceptable excuses when the connection is down. 6. Be able to respond to inquiries on IT trends, prices and consultations. This is for your own advantage as it can fetch you extra pay. Additionally, you will be expected to purchase accessories and assemble computer systems and also to advice on IT policies. If you are qualified and interested, respond via this medium. include your email address and phone number. I'll give you further details. This is a 'close' vacancy advert. Remember, Ibadan is the most populous black city. It is cheap to live and raise a family in Ibadan. Just an hour (or less) drive to Lagos. |
