THE MOTHER AGENCIES:
According to industry standards, a mother agency is the first agency you work with when you begin your modeling career.

A mother agent can also be a scout who discovered you, developed you into an established model and helped you get your start. As you become more established as a model, you will most likely be signed by and placed at multiple agencies in different cities, both nationally and internationally. Therefore, it is beneficial to have one main agent “the mother agent” that acts principally as your manager and coordinates with your other agencies.
Nigerian Mother Agents: These are a network of agencies (quietly) operating around Nigeria to scout the next "star" models and boost diversity in local and international fashion capitals. Over 70+ mother agencies in Africa entirely are now taking over the international scene.

Year 2020 was indeed an eventful year as the COVID Pandemic razed almost every sectors in the country. Many platforms was shaken by the unfortunate event in 2020 but not ABULAD.
On the 9th of January 2021, the Abusites in Lagos and Diaspora (under the auspices of ABULAD) celebrated their 4th annual reunion event/party at Consort Hall, Agege Lagos Mainland.
