A mother agent can also be a scout who discovered you, developed you into an established model and helped you get your start. As you become more established as a model, you will most likely be signed by and placed at multiple agencies in different cities, both nationally and internationally. Therefore, it is beneficial to have one main agent “the mother agent” that acts principally as your manager and coordinates with your other agencies.
