NOW THAT WE ARE HERE

My opinion about the man Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has not
changed. Neither has my position about Muhammadu Buhari.

Even the devil knows that Jonathan fully delivered on his divine
assignment in Nigeria gracefully. Even the opposition party
members who cast aspersions on him during the period of
struggle for power have all sent their sincere salutations.

Jonathan will forever remain the standard with which Nigeria, and
indeed the world will assess every leader in this country. In the
past, present and future. Today we can judge every leader in
Nigeria on press freedom, citizen participation in government,
elections credibility, state above self, independence of judiciary
and legislature, gender compatibility, institutional reforms and
transparency, technology-driven government and fight against
corruption, pressure test, humility, peace path, and indeed
competence.

Now that we're here, I'd advice the PDP to allow Nigeria to move on
and save us from unproductive legal tussle no matter how good
they feel thei case is. I'd advice Nd'Igbo to give the incoming
government the same kind of support they gave Jonathan. I'd
adive the Yoruba people to remain outspoken and critical to the
incoming government as they were to Jonathan's government (but
not with the use of those useless pedestrian invectives and
insolence). I'd advice the creek boys not to cause the country to
spend one-quarter of our budget for four years in fighting
insurrections as the northerners did to Jonathan. I'd advice the
APC to respect the vote will of the people in all subsequen
elections as Jonathan did. The opposition in Nigeria is not popular
with that.

Although Muhammadu Buhari has never congratulated the winner
in any of the three previous elections he had lost, I'd join Mr
Jonathan to say to Buhari congratulations.

In all Nigeria will forever rever you Mr Jonathan.

Maybe you need to read the electoral law and the electoral guideline to know the position of the law on that.

Some fellas who have no idea of the position of the Law on such matter are making spurious claims about the result sheet being more important than the ballot paper. Law is not interpreted in the courts according to your emotions.

Meanwhile I see the APC in early jubilations when the trickling resultss do not suggest clear leads.

By his action he has succeeded in doing no good whatsoever to his party and his candidate. His allegayion is not justiceable in any way whatsoever.

The governor of River state and the APC presidential campaign director general refused to be accredited in his home state of Rivers at the March 28th presidential and national assembly elections citing non availability of result sheets at the polling unit as reason.

By this he couldn't vote, and could not stop others from voting. Although no part of the Law in either the constitution, the electoral Act or the electoral guideline specifies that the polling officers must tender the result sheets before voters can vote.

Is it not safe to infer that governor Amaechi's action was well thought out to shy away from voting a man he has spent so much in cash and kind to campaign for, but whom he does not trust one bit?

If Amaechi refuses to vote for a reason that's flimsy and not justiceable could it not be interpreted as betrayal?

Well, I know the only rouse the infamous SR want to make here is that Aisha Buhari is PUBLIC SERVANT while Patience Jonathan is HOUSE WIFE.

The correct thing is that both Aisha Buhari and Patience Jonathan are wrong. While Patience Jonathan is actually a PUBLIC SERVANT Aisha Buhari is not known to hold any public office. Therefore she's rather a HOUSEWIFE.

But if that happened then it is reprehensible.

But let me advice the poor masses. It is constitutionally a treasonable offence to block the right of way to any president in his own country within his term of office. Let's not abuse the freedom of information or mistake it for freedom of misbehaviour. The people urging you on can never appear or send their family.

It does't sound modest to you. Do you know why all previous hovts including the military govt of Buhari up to the civilian govt of Obasanjo keep the feeding budget of their govt under the secret budget?

Meanwhile, do you know the feeding budget of your state govt house? Have you wondered why they don't reveal it?

Jonathan never even had a shelf life, that is the dilemma Nigerians are faced with at the moment.

If you know what shelf life is then you should know that accepting items whose shelf life have expired is terribly dangerous. For items that don't have shelf life you have absolutely nothing to fear.

Please don't get sensational with serious matters.

Well, whatever the explanation, the effect will become more reasonable when we begin to have reasonable power supply of a minimum of 16hs/d.
Though in all honesty we might not achieve that nationwide even in the next 4yrs (don't even mind the promises of the political parties).
