VACANCIES FOR NON-TEACHING POSITIONS Download PDF

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following positions in the Federal University of Technology, Akure.

 

1.         Deputy Registrar    -           CONTISS 14 (N1, 831,708.00 – N2, 392,572.00)

 Qualifications Required:

(a)       A good first degree from a recognised university plus at least 12 years relevant    post-qualification experience, a considerable part of which must be in university         administration. The applicant must have served as Principal Assistant Registrar     for at least 3 years and must be computer literate.

 

(b)       Membership of recognised professional body i.e. ANUPA, NIM, IPMN, AUA, etc.

Possession of higher degree certificate will be an added advantage.

 

2.         Deputy Bursar        -           CONTISS 14 (N1, 831,708.00 – N2, 392,572.00)

 Qualifications Required

A good first degree in Accounting plus professional recognised Accounting qualifications plus ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA, ANAN plus 12 years post-qualification experience. Applicants must be computer literate (have substantial knowledge of the relevant accounting packages). The applicant must have served as Chief Accountant for at least 3 years.

 

Possession of higher degree certificate will be an added advantage.

 

3.         Deputy Director, Academic Planning

 

CONTISS 14 (N1,831,708.00 – N2,392,572.00)

Qualifications Required

A good honours degree with bias in Mathematics, Statistics or Economics. A minimum of 12 years cognate working experience with a considerable part in the university system with evidence of registration with IPS. Computer literacy is a necessity. The applicant must have served as Chief Planning Officer for at least 3 years.

Possession of higher degree will be an added advantage.

4.         Deputy Director, Physical Planning

CONTISS 14 (N1,831,708.00 – N2,392,572.00)

Qualifications Required

(a)       A good first degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Building, Quantity Surveying, Urban &Regional Planning or  Estate Management   from a recognised university plus at least 12 years post-qualification experience with a considerable part in the university system plus evidence of registration with ARCON & NIA or NIOB and CORBON or NIQSV or COREN and NSE or NITP & TOPREC/NIESV plus at least 12 years post-qualification experience with a considerable part in the university system.

The applicant must have served as Chief Engineer/Architect/Builder/Quantity Surveyor/Town Planning Officer/Estate Officer for at least 3 years and computer literacy is a necessity.

Possession of higher degree certificate will be an added advantage.

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Conditions of service are similar to those in other similar institutions of higher learning in the country.
