I'm planning on starting my own HVAC services this year.

Can I move up to be a corporate member of NSE, and can I also apply to COREN... (I need it)

Sure you can register with NSE as a corporate member and also with COREN. NSE and COREN basically look at when you completed your BEng degree, once it's more than 5 years, they will register you.

You are eligible to apply for Corporate membership and also COREN. However, note that these people have changed their levies now and it requires that you get new zeal every year now from COREN. How long have you worked with HVAC?

I am an Engineer (11 Yrs post grad experience) and to be honest I don't give a poo about having Engr before my name. It is a very naija trait to want to have a title before your name though so I get your scope. In the UK if you are a chartered engineer all you do is have the letters C.Eng after your name on official comms. Again many folk dont care about doing that. lol

Am a B.tech (Agricultural engineering) and M.sc(Agricultural and Environmental Engineering) holder. I have been practising since 2015 but not yet registered. Must I register with NSE before I can apply for COREN.

Documents to be uploaded after registration online are
Proposer form
Certificate of Experience form
3 Page Technical report (Ms word format)
NSE certificate (if you are a member)
Passport (white background
Secondary education certificate
Tertiary education certificate
NYSC certificate
Documents shouldn't exceed 500kb
Get your 2 proposers ready

DESCRIPTION AMOUNT

Application & Processing Fee N 15,000 + N 70,000 = N 85,000.00

Full Registration / Induction fee = N 63,000.00

Total =N148,000.00

Thanks for the information. What about Transcript ? I learnt that one must also send ones official transcript from school (authorising them) to COREN, how true is this? Or is it that the Original University certificate has taken care of that.

depending on your present age, you may qualify for B1, C1 and C2.
B1 =√ 4yrs experience (exam +technical report+interview) pay least
C1= 10 years experience+40 years old of age(you will only submit a technical report and oral interview, no exam)
C2=15 years experience+45 years of age (only interview but pays the hightest reg fee)
the choice is yours to make
