A gubernatorial aspirant in Lagos State, and former minister, Musiliu Obanikoro, has accused a former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu, of turning the state to his personal ATM (Automated Teller Machine), where he draws state funds for his personal needs.
Obanikoro, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, made the claim while speaking to members of his K’oro Nation group yesterday in Lagos.
"For almost 16yrs, one man has turned all Lagosians to his ATM, how long can we continue to accept that,” he said.
He also said the Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge, which he ranked as the most expensive in world, is a fraud.
"Fashola’s Lekki to Ikoyi Bridge is the most expensive bridge in the world. The Lekki to Ikoyi Bridge was christened ‘Cable Bridge’, there is nothing cable about that bridge and ‎the christening of the bridge, ‘cable’, is a 419 act in itself”, he said.
The former minister of state for defence urged Lagosians to ask questions about policies and activities of the state government.
