MAYOWAAK:
May you live longer like corruption in Nigeria

May your blessing increase like fuel price in Nigeria

May your enemies fall like Naira value

May your happiness rise like unemployment in Nigeria

May you move freely like terrorists, armed robbers, kidnappers and fraudsters in Nigeria

May you not fall like power holding company(PHCN) in Nigeria

May all your prayers be accepted like election rigging in Nigeria

May you not be disregarded and disrespected like rule of law in Nigeria.

.....hmmm,....very disheartening! undecided undecided undecided

Seun:
Lasgidi Chick posted a picture of our beloved Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, arriving Kano from London "around 1963" with his father, Muhammad Lamido Sanusi, whose father was the Emir of Kano until that year. SLS was around 2 years old at the time:

Is this picture real? The little kid in the picture certainly has Sanusi's unmistakable flamboyance. His regal attire looks just right, too.

Update: Jarus posted this picture of Sanusi at around 5 - 7 years:

"Blessed is the servant who loves his brother as much when he is sick and useless as when he is
well and can be of service to him. And blessed is he who loves his brother as well when he is afar off as when he is by his side, and who would say nothing behind his back he might not, in love, say before his face."
