Meanning, and how you can Port to any
Network of your Choice Using any Sim card
of your choice as well.

Portability in every Nigerian Network, as such you can switch to any network of your choice with any Sim card. For example, If am using MTN sim card, i can decide to switch/port to AIRTEL network, using my MTN sim card.

This means that you must not buy/purchase any network provider Sim card before you can use their services. I guess this feature which has been introduced to the Nigerian Network Providers is awesome and fantastic. Now let’s learn how you can port in and out of any Network of your choice.

HOW CAN I PORT TO ANY NIGERIAN
NETWORK OF MY CHOICE?

NOTE: You cannot port To a network using
the Network Sim card, i.e You can’t port to
MTN using MTN SIMCARD. This same thing applies to all other networks.

HOW TO PORT IN TO AIRTEL NETWORK
1. Send SMS to 1900
2. You will recieve a message from 1900
which contains your UPC (Unique Porting Code)
3. Visit any airtel office nearest to you, tell
them you want to port in to airtel, a form will be giving to you.

You are required to have the following details with in other to fill the form
Your UPC
Your Current Phone Number
Your Current Network/Operator
After filling the form, submit it back to them. You are done with porting, the other
work is left for Airtel. Service will take place withing 24 hours of porting.

HOW TO PORT IN TO ETISALAT NETWORK
Visit any ETISALAT Office near you, tell them you wish to port in to etisalat.
You will need to provide them with;
1. Your Current phone number
2. Your ID Card OR Driving Licence OR E-
Passpport
Then the remaining Job is left for Etisalat

HOW TO PORT IN TO MTN NETWORK
Send PORT to 3232
you will get a message telling you that you
have successfully ported in to MTN NG.

Then wait for 24 hour for MTN full service
to be activated on your Sim card.

HOW TO PORT IN TO GLO NETWORK
Go to your message and Send PORT to 3232
Then you are done, wait till you Get a response from Glo, then you can go ahead
and use Glo network services.
NOTE:
No airtime is required before you can port to any network.
Your mobile number will still be Retained on the new network.
You will loose all services/contacts/
messages/Credits on the old network when you port to a different network.
You will have to buy a welcome back sim of the network you ported to, if you loose the sim card you ported with....
