Not a single stone Remained unmoved On the world of illusion, To treat my bipolar condition: What you focus on is what you get! Myriad symbols sent from above To stop the madness, but Once the cortex chemically oriented, Higher reality cannot be interpreted: What you focus on is what you get! Sister, in the exile of duality We're all split within and without The man in white, glues the label on: Depression, bipolar or schizophrenia, What you focus on is what you get! Regardless of the diagnosis, there's is choice Either you accept the tag or The Truth: Oneness driven from beyond With inescapable perfection: What you focus on is what you get! Crying for help from "out there" is The sure sign, we're forgotten or Never knew: Discord is the harmony of the Universe: What you focus on is what you get! |

1. THE WISHFUL THOUGHT OF A NIGERIAN I wish being married to you was bliss, that blossom like Cherry blossoms, on a mid summer afternoon. I wish being married to you Didn't make me mourn, With scorn, that put a smile on the face of the moon. I wish being married to you painted the sky with words, that tell tales of swords, Which causes discord. I wish being married to you didn't wipe my eyes with crimson red, that shed tears, that flows like the Nile. I wish being married to you didn't make me sow seeds, that sprouts weeds, on our bed of creeds. I wish being married to you didn't cause so much pain, which brings so much gain, even for Kaduna to contain. I wish being married to you didn't make me realize, that, you are indeed, the Domitilla of my time I wish being married to you didn't put a plaque, on my back, like the plague, that scorch the Hague I wish being married to you didn't make my heart quake like Earthquake measuring 10 on the Richers Scale. I wish being married to you didn't cause me so much grief, that made be believe, you are the chief thief. I wish being married to you didn't make me feel trapped, and wrapped in a cocoon, of deceit and conceit. I wish I could handle you, I wish I could cuddle you, I wish I could kiss you, I wish I could caress you. I wish I could stand and bask Without wearing a mask, In the magnificence, Of your former presence I wish I could divorce you, Oh Nigeria!. 2 Likes 3 Shares |

Phew! dont know how to write poem oooo. well lemne give it a try... ---------------------------- I WISH I HAD MORE I wish! I wish!! I wish!!! I wish I had more of Tex, ‘cause life without Tex Like a lonely goat Would be a big bore. I wish I had more smile, On your lips forever, while At all times, high or Low and every moment you Would ever know I wish I had more, ‘cause Cisse without Tex Like a blind horse Would be a big snore. I wish I’d had more, ‘cause with my Tex, Like a hairy rug I cover the floor. I wish I had more, But when I sit down to love you, To be every ray of sun, With which your every Day had begun My Behind gets sore. I wish I had more, ‘cause if I don’t have you, Like unfed horse, You will hear me snore. I wish I had more. My Tex is missing, As the honesty is missed I’m going to get sore. I wish I had more. Of your love, oh Tex, like a cockatoo It’s my favorite chore. I wish I had more. That’s why I scream as I Run like a chased robber Out of Nigeria looking for Tex. I wish, Tex, I had more Like Harry Potter A magic wand To make all my wishes Come true. 3 Likes 1 Share |

3. SADOWS OF YESTERDAY by Tex I wish the hands of time would turn; Spin back to simpler days without concern. Back to a time and place when old bridges, I did burn. There are moments, though fleeting, I do yearn, When memories start to churn, And the shadows of yesterday begin to sojourn. I wish...but no. Would I want to unlearn, And spurn The lessons and knowledge I have earned, To visit the "Past Regrets" tavern? Father Time commands the urn That one day will overturn, And chime the time to adjourn. 3 Likes 1 Share |

OUT OF MY GRASP ** I wish all my wishes will come true, Then i won't stop wishing. ** I wish there was no you, Then my heart will know no grief, Love would have been an alien, Whom i will walk past without looking back, The days won't get lonely and the night scary, My heart won't turn to stone, My Kingdom will still have a throne. ** I wish i couldn't make a wish, Singing the lazy man's anthem, Counting my chickens before they are hatched. ** I wish i could wish for two things, Just two things, Love and war. ** I wish i had wings, then i will fly to the sky and ask God, Where do dead babies go, heaven or hell, What about the good atheists, the angels who fell, Why do good things happen to bad people and the righteous fade like ripples. ** I wish i could search the whole sky and see there is no God, No big Almighty who watches our affairs, Only to come back and hear a tiny voice within my soul, Feel the strong bond of existence, God's real representative, The cord that connects everyone, That brings the initiative of good and evil, No fanaticism, no extremism, Just the benefit of Mankind. 1 Like |

4).WISHFUL THOUGHT FOR NIGERIA. I wish you luck Nigeria, a great piece every day, a ladybird on a four-leaved clover and sunshine at all times. You shall never have a Black Friday, luck shall come along with you on your way. I wish you health, resistance against corruption. Neither economic decline, theft, terrorism, nor weariness - none of this shall plague you, be lusty and fit each and every day. I wish you love, no chance for those thieves, who come and steal your heart, just to torture you afterwards. I hope the one will find you, with whom a red thread conjoins. I wish you strength Nigeria, I wish you never break up for any reason. Persevere no matter what happens. Proceed, do not fear the challenge. I wish you satisfaction, because life often demands modesty. Be glad for what you possess; do not commiserate what you miss. I wish Never shall befall you harm, your citizen's shall live a life of charm and shall wear a smile on their face. I wish you time. a valuable merchandise these days truly. It may not pass so speedily; time to be recognise in world,. I wish our diverisity would make us stronger I wish we remain ONE NIGERIA. I wish the almighty would guide Nigeria through trouble times. 1 Like 1 Share |

SOMEONE TO CALL MY OWN I wish there was a soul, Whose words keep me aglow. Someone to call My own, When others keep away. Going through life alone is burdensome, In bed alone is worrisome, Aloneness can be cumbersome, With none to share the sum. All day I look and search, All night I sigh and sleep. The watch and wait seems endless, Where is the one that makes me whole? 1 Like 1 Share |

...to be a queen... I wish to be the queen. When my father has gone to be with his ancestors. To rule the land that made me and taught me to live. To teach others what I have been taught. Alas, if I am to lead, my travails will surpass the sands of the beach. Would be more difficult than the tasks of almighty Hercules. More daunting than the bounds of queen Esther. Because I am a woman, and my thoughts don't matter. Because I am a minor and my ways are immature. because I am the last child and I have to be patient, waiting till eternity. I wish to be the queen, It remains to be seen. 1 Like |

9. MY SHADOW; ANOTHER ME I WISH thou didst have a pair of ears, So when the world does go wearily deaf, Thou wilt trail by me like a lad who cares, Walk and listen swiftly akin to an elf. Flip up hope when I'm fallen an' bruised, Thy dark self shalt slant along my path, An' in unison, leaving footprints in hues; O! I wish, you'd gallop along like a cart. We're e'en more glued than siamese twins, Nowt which I do,that you oughtn't do, No'ith force, but fate that oughtn't be twist'd, On earth we met,in death will I let go?. Reliable and truthful, even than most lovers, That like a prey-bird doth searchingly hovers. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Laugh all day, cry all night. Always saying nothing's wrong. Everything's alright. Never wanting to admit How you really feel inside, Because all you really want To do is run away and hide. I wish, just wish that. Maybe, just maybe, I could lose myself in a world That wasn’t my own. A world where only You and I exist. Night and day would become One in the same. And hopefully, Everyone of our problems. Every problem in the world Would melt away. Ayamlaykorn 1 Like |

WISHES OF HOPE I wish my wishes could stop being wishes, But rather experiences. Which i live on, Which i learn from. *** I wish my dreams, Could be like streams, Flowing towards a destination, Heading towards my vision, As its sole mission. *** I wish you could give me one chance, To put me out of this trance, And actually hold your hands, So you can cuddle in my arms. To be your twin, And you, my queen, To breathe your breath, To cause no sweat. *** I wish I could see the future Of a nation, With a formidable measure Of protection. Neither ladened With missing lasses, Nor saddened With wailing masses. I refuse to see a fissured future, But rather hope for a sutured signature. 1 Like |
