Nigeria international winger, Victor Moses has spoken about his sadness over his latest injury setback which will see him miss the rest of 2014.

Moses suffered a thigh injury during Stoke City’s 1-2 defeat to Burnley in the Barclays English Premier League on November 22.

Officials of Stoke City have now revealed that the 23-year-old will be sidelined for “between six to eight weeks”.

Moses in turn has now voiced his sadness promising that he will return to action “as soon as possible”.

He took to Twitter on Wednesday night to discuss his latest setback as well as hopes for the future.

“Disappointed to be ruled out through injury but I’ll work as hard as I can to be back as soon as possible. Thanks for all of your amazing support,” he tweeted via @VictorMoses.

Moses has scored once and in ten league appearances for the Potters.

He has been capped 22 times for Nigeria at senior level.
