If shekarau's demands are met in the north, if gej should step down, if the north adopts sharia do u think peace will return to the north. Or will the sunni and shiite issue now come in to finally polarize the north? What is your opinion in relation to prevailing situations. Pls dont comment with anger. Evil is in all religion.

the north should not do anything western: should not attend school, should not work in govt, should not associate with unbelievers, should adopt fullblown sharia etc.

Am afraid it may not bring permanent peace.one thing i have noticed about these bombing issues is that once a country with a large Muslim population experienced a bombing event,it never stop, though,i just hope our own will be different sha.

fantasies? Why waste life over fantasies in such great numbers, even if it was one victim. I believe if the relevant things are conceded, like adopting sharia, the killings will reduce or stop.

even tho man cannot be satisfied, there is a motif behind his hunger for certain things: what is boko haram presumed motif for these indiscriminate killings? Is it money or fame or somthing else?

I mean, for bokoharam to be accorded all those aims you mentioned, will be just FANTAsy. They will only see it in their dreams worlds but never in a nation comprising of many religions.
Now you also think those issues are relevant? No my brother. Its never pivotal for our development as a people. All we need is love. So someone should tell those guys to wake up and drop their weapons.

from experience, islamic extremists do not listen to advice, they will never love those who do not belong to them. In view of this, what does the future hold for the north in particular and nigeria in general?

We don't need to meet their demands, we should adopt carrot and stick approach on the short and mid term, and humanitarian/developmental approach for the long term. Promise the arrested insurgents to denounce terrorism and rehabilitate them, send promise to fleeing insurgents to give it up and be pardoned, while you orientate/exhume vital infor from them. As for the stubborn ones, launch full investigative and military actions against them, not just the field workers but also on their sponsors. The government should also provide infrastructure, revammp our education so as to get people enlightened, carryout massive social orientation programs in schools, TVs, Radios, magazines etc, so as to make Nigerians more socially responsible, and provide jobs to keep people productive and engaged. Most importatntly, stop corruption and executive lawlessness.

OP what demand? That the North should go back to stone-age? The equipment BH use in causing havoc, who invented them? BH has no objective or Cause to justify their horrible actions and only one thing awaits them. Horrible death!

how about pardon, forgiveness and rebuilding? Wont that help more thand retribution? U know, it could be ignorance that is pushing them. Cant the presidency use more effort at diplomacy? For the sake of the innocent and nigeria in general?

Please can I ask you a question. Where exactly do you base in Nigeria.?

If Pardon, forgiveness and rebuilding could solve the world's problem, America won't have gone after Osama Bin Laden, the world won't have cried for the Head of Adolf Hitler, and the likes of them but embrace them with open arms and international pardon. You are here talking about forgiveness and BH have not even started yet. My broda wake up from ur slumbering sleep and shine ur eyes. You think even if they grant BH Islam state, that will end this constant blood shed?, it will even motivate them to try and extend the finger tip given to them into a full hand.

This is the harsh reality but terrorism will not be eradicated from Nigeria even if the insurgent in the North is stopped. There will be pockets of violence in certain locations
