good day,my Toshiba laptop is refusing to go past it's logo whenever I switch it on,I see the Toshiba logo and it just stops there.

mine also isn't booting is it a usual problem ?

Try see if u could Boot via safe moide..

Take the laptop 2 a laptop repair and let him fix it for u...Wher are u?

before rebooting ? none except that a driver for one of my friend's infinix phone was installed when he was charging via my pc


I can't get to safe mode.. except that Boot menu and settings.menu where you can set system time and choose the laptop's booting order (BIOS )

If You can't Get to safe mode... I bet the only Available Option here is You reloading The Os bro!

Whew... I can always re download them, Atleast I can breathe safely since I know I wouldn't lose my files...

Can I just reload. win8 on it straight off or it has to be 7..? cos Im afraid of the repetition of this scenario..

and sir,Would I perform a clean windows installation or a repair ?
and I just noticed my hdd isn't coming up in the boot order....it's a pretty new drive (6 months)

Fixed...... I removed the hdd and reconnected it,it came up immediately..... thanks for your help.

I you can get pass the Startup Logo and you get stuck at Windows Start-up you can repair without reloading the OS

Dont use SAFE MODE, use Directory Service Mode Instead

OR you can try to use Repair option then use the Start-Up Repair[b][/b] option

But I you can not get pass the Startup Logo you need to visit Repair Shop

mine is fixed already, I checked the hdd only to discover it wasn't connected properly,(I then remembered my bag fell with my laptop in it),after which I reinserted it properly and it worked immediately.... try doing this
