I am sick and tired of the government, the military and other agencies telling us unconfirmed reports.

The enemy gains and holds on to captured ground, releases video after video of proofs of what they do; land captured, weapons captured and even scenes of battles with our military showing our soldiers running

And what do we usually have in response from our government and military? Mouth talk and press statements. Mouth talk that told us Shekau was killed, mouth talk that said we have rescued the girls, mouth talk that said soldiers didn't burn brt buses. Mouth talk full of lies!

At this point, some are saying 'nonsense, I've seen videos of this and that the army has published'. I'll like to ask, by whom and how often? These are videos clearly taken by mobile phones(meaning they are taken by individual soldiers) and not by official army media men. And those phone videos don't even come out often enough to prove anything.

We all watch foreign media stations, and would agree war has gone beyond actual fighting but propaganda too-the media war.

With boko haram attacking at will and showing videos of land grabbed and the army fleeing, yet the army only comes with word of mouth to counter video evidence, I only have 2 conclusions;

1-either the army is loosing badly and therefore have nothing to show us OR

2- our generals are too foolish to realise the power and effect of the media.

Dispatching 40 at a time, as the army keeps doing, won't make a dent in the ranks of these psychotic murderers and rapists especially with our borders open to the entire African continent. In addition to all the measures well-meaning Nigerians have suggested, the Nigeria army strategists should tell themselves, supposing we had to fight a war against all of West and central Africa, what should be the level of Nigeria's military strength and what would we put in place to defend our people?

Simple mathematics = if BH kills 200 and Naija army kills 40, which of the two numbers is greater? Subtract 40 from 200. Answer is 160, advantage - BH.
