You don’t have to be religious or a prophet to realise the world just has to come to an end someday, with the way the affairs of many men is being run by a few men. The minority may oppress the majority with ridiculous and unequal laws for a long time but eventually the majority would reach a breaking point and rebel, the result: catastrophe.

Obafemi Awolowo once said : ‘since independence, our governments has been holding the cow for the strongest and the most cunning to milk’. What Awo was saying in essence is that the way the society works had been fashioned to favor the few to the detriment of the majority.

Its difficult to have a perfectly fair society, because no human system is/can be really perfect in the real sense of the word but we are supposed to strive to at least have a society were we enact and apply our laws with fairness and equity.

Our lawmakers are in my opinion a gang of clowns without the red nose….or maybe they are just very smart, they know the masses are the masses for a reason,they can have anything forced down their throats, so they take the masses for granted....
