was using my blackberry q10 this morning with about 30% battery to chat. I put it in my pocket for a while and when I brought it out, the screen was off but the red light would blink 4/5 times, stop and blink again.

This happened for about an hour, now it doesn't respond at all. No lights or anything.

I've charged the battery full in my external battery case/charger but it doesn't still turn on the phone.

Connecting on my laptop with Blackberry Link 1.23.....48 the phone is not detected

It is also not detected by Sachesi software.

Please who knows how I can get this back up there is so much important information in the phone as I havent backed up in over a year

Have you been running leaks on your phone? Seems to me your operating system has crashed or corrupted..

bro, you probably will need to restore the factory firmware...

I will be quite surprise if a new battery resolves this, but it is worth trying first.

Just my opinion of course based on similar experience with a bold 9780 few years ago.. Good luck

No leaks or anything, I haven't even had time to update firmware from 10.2.xx it was on

Seems your phone is dead, processor dead, this issue is common to bold 5 and 6. Most times the phones are rendered useless when such things are noticed, you could remove the battery and keep the phone off for some time and retry if it doesn't work then I'll advise that you take it to a software engineer. And if it proves abortive then I'm afraid your phone is GONE. Goodluck
