Yeah, I think so.
You could also make the question an open-ended one so people who have reapplied can explain better.

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by easyxtan: 9:05pm On Jun 04, 2015
You are on student visa so you are good to go with one way ticket. if you where on visit visa, then you will need a return ticket.

I want to know if you were able to register your courses from here in Nigeria or if you did on getting to Ottawa, also, did you have to take any compulsory courses in your first session? Lol...I know it's been a while but I'm just a little anxious, and the website isn't giving me much of anything. Thanks.

Thanks so much for yur reply I actually got my study permit last year but the school I got waterloo kept buggin me I sent an incomplete transcript wer I was runnin a masters program but it ended up NT workin out. Now a popular travel agency advices being on a student visa dat I get a return ticket, evry oda fellow I asked says one way wil be fine. Pls am bout paying differntials for return ticket. My visa is ttil November next year hop at point of entry I wont be quizzed on y I bought a one way ticket thanks again fo ur detailed response
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by akanni(m): 3:32am On Jun 05, 2015
Jacko, how long is your program?
You are a student and you are entitled to a one-way ticket.
No one will arrest or deny you at the point of entry about whether you used a one way or return.
What they are interested is that you have your admission! [probably evidence that you have paid your fees or you have funds (which is not in every case)].Don't waste money on differential.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by double08(m): 4:00am On Jun 05, 2015
By "start life" what do you mean? Like you want to further ur studies or go as a skilled worker?
Those I think are the easiest "legal" ways. I might be wrong sha. Btw what you doing in naija?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by double08(m): 4:02am On Jun 05, 2015
One way ticket is fine since its a student visa. I bought one way ticket too and was allowed. You good to go bro

Gud day guyz pls i need assistance i got an offer frm fanshewa college PGD information security management, i am currently in india for ICT training i want to knw if i can apply from here and if its mandatory to pay fees b4 visa application
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Solo8(m): 5:36am On Jun 05, 2015
I don't think you can, most countries demand that you have to apply from your home country. I tried applying for a tourist Ghana visa from naija and when I called, they demanded that the visa must be applied for Canada if it's on a Canadian passport.
I've heard of some journalist applying for visa while on the road though. I'm not sure if they are considered a special case, you can always call/email immigration Canada and ask.

Good Morning house!
Totally unrelated, so I woke up this morning and saw a bird on my window and it was making some bird noise, I opened my curtain (coz my window was open) and the bird flew away, apparently it might be passing me a message ...
Does it mean my TRV is on the way?
This is serious!
