The house of assembly members in d state are embittered for not being rewarded after helping to impeach nyako, the sitting governor(bala ngilari) is at a logger-head with the pdp at d centre right now, bamanga tukur was suspended frm pdp recently and, his son jst lost at d primary. Pdp is conspicously jointed right now and, may not have that structure to defeat d apc in d main election.

PDP owns Adamawa, Fintiri who is heavily popular was at the primaries and he backed him, Zwingina,Boni Haruna and all the former governors who control Adamawa votes back him. Had the bye election held then, Fintiri would have destroyed Bindow the APC's candidate. Even Buhari lost to GEJ in Adamawa in 2011. It is equally populated by both Muslims and christians.
