In Oyo State, former
Senate Leader,
Teslim Folarin,
emerged as the PDP
governorship
candidate.
Some aspirants
boycotted the event,
claiming “it is illegal”.
Out of the seven
aspirants who
attended the
primaries, only three
contested against
Senator Folarin, who
won with 167 votes
while two others abstained.
Some of the main contenders like the former Oyo State
Governor, Adebayo Alao Akala and Seyi Makinde were
absent from the primaries.

Since Sheyi Makinde was schemed out of PDP ticket, now my allegiance lies fully with Accord Party. Ladoja to the rescue of 'Pace setter State'

Thank God!,.,.now PDP has given ajimobi an easy ticket to victory!..if it were to be a seyi makinde candidacy, ajimobi and APC would have been roundly defeated, seyi is fanatically loved in ibadan, as it now stands, ladoja and his accord forces, ajimobi as well as teslim would share the total vote in Ibadan, while akala would lock down ogbomoso axis, alaafin and his son, akeem would deliver all the four local governments in oyo to APC , and APC would likely clear ibarapa region, my home zone, oke ogun, would likely go to akala or ajimobi! So as things stands, the odds favour ajimobi.
