Former Minister of the FCT, Senator Adamu Aliero, has defected to the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC).
Aliero, who also won a Senate ticket in the APC 24 hours after defecting, in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Hausa Service monitored in Birnin Kebbi yesterday, said his defection was prompted by lack of respect to promises made with him and his people when they returned to the PDP in 2012.
“My decamping to the APC is based on the decision of my supporters since the PDP has failed to honour agreements reached with them,” he said.

There must be politicians who have been working for the party all this while.
