I believe its high time for Us (Nigerians) to think well before voting. We have people clamouring for the continuity of GEJ after six years of 'failed' government. For those who may not agree with me, can u please point out to any of GEJ achievement(s)? Some even claims GEJ's has so many enemies and that has limited his agenda to change Nigeria for better. Now if we vote him again, will he be able to conquer his so called 'enemies'? ...The Chibok girls are long forgotten, graduates walking on the streets with their Cvs in search for jobs everyday, power failure, bad roads, insecurity (people living in the North aren't finding it easy at all)....SMH!
Yes, others wants Buhari as the President. Hmmmm. He once has been the Head of State, Governor and Minister for Petroleum. He initiated WAI (War Against Indiscipline) because he saw the Civilian government as a 'hopelessly corrupt government'...is the civilian government no more a corrupt one? Aspects of this campaign included public humiliation of civil servants who arrived late for work whilst guards were armed with whips to ensure orderly queues at bus stops.
He also moved to silence critics of his administration, passing decrees curbing press freedoms and allowing for opponents to be detained up to three months without formal charges. He also banned strikes and lockouts by workers and founded Nigeria's first secret police force, the National Security Organization. His government sentenced popular musician and political critic Fela Kuti to ten years in prison on charges that Amnesty International denounced as fabricated and politically motivated; Kuti was later pardoned and released by Buhari's successor.
GEJ & Buhari aren't the only people who have the rights to become Presidents...They have been there once. Either of them will come with what I see as 'Administration Upgrade'...what we need is 'New Administration'.
Presidency isn't a Chieftaincy title 'oye idile'.
