Initially created just for a competition, the project has since taken a life of its own.
Created for Android (and other platforms to come), Sortables is pure arcade fun.
The premise
As the video explained, we knew it had been tried before and wasn't so successful but we were sure we had a unique formula to make sharing awareness about Climate Change fun.
Simple addictive gameplay with tasty rewards and unlockables.
So basically sort the trash into the correct bins to recycle, sounds pretty simple right....?
Well in-between you have to decompose the organics, make some money, upgrade your bins and unlock new levels
Style wise, we decided to experiment and try something new.
We built the game and environments in full 3D, modeled, textured, animated and all, but the gameplay engine is 2D. This allows us to create a rich experience.
And should I say so myself, the art is looking gorgeous
Should make an interesting mix...
