You 'pay' but correctly you 'give'
bcause pay without right attitude doesnt affect terms of d other party but the word loses meaning wen payers attitude affects response of receiver.
E.g. You can pay nepa bill,tac nonchalantly. And ure cleared of ur obligations. But giving ur tithe or and offering with a begrudging attitude can make God reject it or and reject blessing u. See wat i mean? Pay as a word fails. Return fails. You return something given to u , in a direct sense which u consciously borrowed. But this isnt d case with income. You ddnt borrow from God though it's God tht blessed and caused d increase.

In summary, the word is give but a lesser apprpriate word is 'pay'.

As a christian, contrary to popular false teachings in many of our churches, you are not supposed to pay, give or return tithes to God. We and. Everything we own belongs to God so you can't give God what is already his.

Fact still remains that there is absolutely no injunction in the bible requiring or instructing christians to tithe. You have to twist and add to scriptures to arrive at the type of tithing preached today.
