Dream Team VI coach, Samson Siasia says
there will be no problems with the Flying
Eagles over the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho,
Isaac Success, Musa Mohammed and Musa
Yahaya, after the quartet were invited to the
U20’s for their preparation for the 2015
Africa Youth Championship, despite already
having being invited to the U23’s.
The players are yet to report to the Dream
Team camp, but are expected to team up
with the Flying Eagles after the Christmas
break, but despite the seeming
disappointment of not having the players;
Siasia says there should be no problems as
he will communicate with the Flying Eagles
coaches for the availability of the players
when they shall be needed.
“Well I think the U20’s will go with their
team first and we can only get them back
when they’re not busy with the U20’s. So we
have to know how to manage them and if
we need those players from the U20, we will
find a way to talk to the coaches to release
them,” Siasia told SL10.ng.
The former Super Eagles striker had earlier
invited 47 overseas based players for
screening but have only had a handful of
those, while a few have also showed up
