It is settled that APC and APGA, the strong contenders in Imo state have produced their governorship candidates ahead of the 2015 gubernatorial elections. This cannot be authentically said about their co rival party, the PDP. PDP has done its party Primaries for the said post, but confusion looms in all quarters of the state as who actually is their candidate for the guber race. The result released to the media after the PDP primary elections showed Hon. Ihedioha emerging as the PDP flag bearer for the state, defeating Sen. Ararume with 10 votes, while the former Governor, Chief Ohakim was the 3rd on the list. This result has been challenged by Sen. Ararume, saying he is the rightful winner of the primaries. A valid point Sen. Ararume has is that the total votes cast were more than the registered delegates, saying that the result was influenced in favour of the Dep. Speaker HOR, Hon. Ihedioha. Presently, it is still confusing on who actually is the valid candidate for PDP Guber race in Imo. Please, anyone with authentic information should keep us updated. Thank you. |

Ararume is the winner of the primaries and hopefully will govern Imo at long last.The NWC electoral appeal panel is seriously leaning towards the senator's perspective little reason why Ihedioha has been making too much noise in the media.. |
