Esp if she visits the man that abused her in a private place. Ie a woman visits a male at his office or appartment and then gets rapped, people will be quick to ask her what she was doing alone with him. Even nairaland boys will say they smell lies and the woman is daft and seeking attention.
She will be mocked and of coursr have the rape stigma attatched to her the rest of her life. Many women will swallow the abuse until they feel strong enough to tell their stories or see that they did nothing to warant the abuse.

Lol, you mean the same country where priests, cab drivers, thugs, armed robbers etc. ra.pe people? The FP alone has two ra.pe stories in one day, and I believe both cases were never reported.

Also, you should be able to notice it based on the mentality of the women, and how belligerent a lot of them can be. I think it's cos of the stigma attached to it, hence most don't talk about it. If it were not for that - Nigeria should be the ra.pe capital of the world.
