I want to congratulate in advance, His Excellency Goodluck Jonathan for winning the yet to be conducted 2015 presidential election. I had thought APC would mount a strong and credible opposition, but the events of the last few days has clearly proven otherwise. All the noise wasn't about the common interest of the Nigerian people, rather it was a ploy to gain cheap political popularity and for personal and selfish financial aggrandisement. They have clearly shown Nigerians that they cannot do better than those they oppose. What manner of opposition could have a party wrestled to the ground by a singlemember, if Buhari was not able to assert his authority as the presidential flag bearer by choosing a person of his choice as running mate, how then can he proof to Nigerians that he's got a will of his own to rule Nigeria without undue interference by political godfathers. In as much as the present government has not performed marvelously, it will be disastrous to entrust the fate of the country in the hands of political scavengers and never do wells. Be that as it may, Jonathan has at least show a will of his own by not succumbing to the pressure from some quarters in his political inclination to substitute his vice Sambo.
The devil you know is better than the angel you don't know. Until the opposition live up to expectation, they will not be seen as anything short of ranting toothless politicians.
