BLIND MEN:
"But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ" -2Cor 3:14.
Sin have blinded many so-called christians that they can not distinguish between truth and lie. Many who know the truth, don't practise it because of their sinful pleasure. They will all give an account of their works on the judgement day! Jesus came preaching the truth and all the so-called priests, elders and Pharisee, who claimed to know the law and the true God were there to plot His fall. Blind men! "But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for barabbas and destroy Jesus -Matt27:20". WOW! They went to the extent of swapping the just One(Jesus Christ) for a long time notorious thief, Barabbas. Hey You! Yes You! How many times have you swapped the love of Christ for worldliness and sin? Will you continue to nail Him to the cross? Repent while there is still time for you to do so. "So, she, having been promted by her mother, said, 'Give me John the Baptist's head here on a platter'- Matt 14:8." John the Baptist also came preaching the truth, but the world did not believe him. He warned Herod not to marry Herodias, his brother Philip's wife which he did. But on one unfortunate day, king Herod's birthday, he foolishly made Herodias daughter to make a wish after she had pleased Herod with her dance step. Her mother then influenced her to ask for John the Baptist's head. Why not ask for millions of things you can enjoy throughout your lifetime rather than ask for the head of an innocent man just because he preached the truth. The same thing still happen in the world today. You will only see few peoples in churches where the truth of the word of God is being preached, while churches who twist and change the word of God to suit it's members are all crowded and the blind men of God or the pretending blind men of God will lead all it's blind members to eternal destructon in hell. Seek the truth, follow it, and it shall set you free. God bless you.
