After winning the Club World Cup with Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo flew to his home town in Madeira to unveil this new bronze statue of himself.

Real Madrid's Cristiano Rolando has returned to his hometown of Fun challenge on the Island of Madeira for the unveiling of a 3.4m statue of himself.

"This is a very special moment, to have a statue of me," the 29-year-old said.
The statue is part of Ronaldo's personal museum, housing mementos and awards from his career including his two Ballon D'Or titles, awarded to him as the world's best player in 2008 and 2013.

Many of ronaldo's critics know nothing of his beginning. This dude is from one hell of a poor family, his papa was a drunkard(late now). Many think dat he is one arrogant proud dude but no he is not. This guy has done a lot to help ppl. helped a lot in his hometown. Some temme wat is wrong in building a stature for him in his hometown. And if u open ur eyes wella, u will see the numba of huge there to celebrate with him. So you can keep you hate to urself here in naija, ppl of Medeira love him.
