Jesus wasn't born on Christmas. Christmas has more to do with Saturnalia or Saturn. And Saturnalia/Saturn=Capricorn. |

Op why are there no record(s) of the disciples of jesus celebrating jesus birthday on 25 of december recorded in the entire Bible, even after his death? Was Jesus such a dummy to even mention or celebrate his birthday throughout his 33 and half years on earth? Or did he forget? 6 Likes |

[quote author=Ubenedictus post=29170885]The Catholic Church, from at least the second century, has claimed that Christ was born on December 25. However, it is commonly alleged that our Lord Jesus Christ was not born on December 25. For the sake of simplicity, let us set out the usual objections to the date of December 25 and counter each of them. Objection 1: December 25 was chosen in order to replace the pagan Roman festival of Saturnalia. Saturnalia was a popular winter festival and so the Catholic Church prudently substituted Christmas in its place. Reply to Objection 1: Saturnalia commemorated the winter solstice. Yet the winter solstice falls on December 22. It is true that Saturnalia celebrations began as early as December 17 and extended till December 23. Still, the dates don’t match up. Objection 2: December 25 was .” My dear we dont need this things. what christ want from us is to obey him and love our follow human as we love our self . happy christmas not xmas . 2 Likes 1 Share |

History said this, History said that, ok let's assume that he was actually born on 25th. Let's agree for a moment that 25th was actually his birthday. Did he tell you to celebrate it? The books of the New Testament cover 30+ years of Jesus Christ's life, then another 30+ years of the early Church following His death and resurrection, but nowhere do we find any hint of a Christmas celebration, not one The Bible does give us quite a few details of His birth, the angelic appearance to Mary and then Joseph, the conditions surrounding His birth in Bethlehem, the heavenly choir's performance for the shepherds in the fields outside the town. But that was all, no where in the Bible is there any record of anyone observing Christmas or any hint that God the Father or Jesus Christ expects us to do so. I Quote Paul. "For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, 'Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.' "In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. 'For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes . . . Let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup"(1 Corinthians:11:23-28). This is what he wants us to. His death and resurrection are what should be observed. Jesus himself never celebrated his birthday but He kept the Passover (1 Corinthians:11:23-26). He observed the Days of Unleavened Bread (Acts:20:6;1 Corinthians:5:7-. The New Testament Church itself was founded on the Feast of Pentecost (Acts:2:1), another biblical festival they clearly observed (Acts:20:16). They likewise kept the Day of Atonement (called "the Fast" in Acts:27:9) and the Feast of Tabernacles (John:7:2, 10). Christmas, meanwhile, is totally missing from the biblical record. Now tell me, wetin concern Christmas tree with birth of Jesus and the remembrance of his birthday? Do they relate in any way 4 Likes 1 Share |

Ubenedictus:All these are to justify ur celebration of this pagan festival. Jesus lived on earth for 33 and half years. Count six months from December 25 and tell me if Nissan 14 corresponds with June. Do not blind ur mind to reason. 5 Likes |

We read that just after the Virgin Mary conceived Christ, she went to visit her cousin Elizabeth who was six months pregnant with John the Baptist....... Mary was already pregnant when she went to visit Elisabeth.....that means she was already in her FIRST MONTH while Elisabeth was in her SIXTH MONTH.......John the Baptist, CHRIST s cousin is 5 MONTHS older than JESUS.....can prove this Biblically......JESUS was born on the 17th day of the month of TISHRI...the SEVENTH MONTH of the HEBREW calendar.....crucified on the 15th day of the FIRST month....and resurrected on the 17th day of the FIRST MONTH....can explain all this later |

The bible has no record of the exact date Jesus was born therefore all arguments, guise work cannot hold water. All that I know is one day Jesus was conceived and born by virgin Mary. 1 Like |

Forget it. No matter the grammer you just spew out there, i don't give a damn. As far as History tells me, CHRIST BIRTHDAY WAS NEVER ON 25th. Do you understand the difference between WINTER and SUMMER? If you do, then that write-up is trash. You are typing from your own level of theology. According to Bible, the shepherd were out with their sheeps when the angels appear to them telling them of Jesus birth. So, the shepherds were out looking over their flocks and only WINTER(cold time) fit into that season. And winter is not December. #PonderOnThis If you believe Jesus Birthday was not December, hit LIKE 7 Likes |

OP, you are brilliant and your historical analysis is enough to enlighten the millions of ignorant followers of misleading sects. Because the prophet lied Thousands have died And thousand more will follow Because of the lies of this strange fellow. ~ Ekenyerengozi Michael Chima From The Prophet Lied, http://www.amazon.com/Prophet-Lied-Michael-Chima-Ekenyerengozi/dp/1481088351/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1419624275&sr=1-3&keywords=ekenyerengozi+michael+chima. Matthew 7:15-20King James Version (KJV) 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
