These are a few things that i feel would help the average person have a better year 2015, this is personal opinion and you are free to include yours. Happy new year in advance

1) work on your spending : every tom, dick and harry knows whats currently going on in the world, the falling prices of oil and its devastating effects on our economy.
I'm not saying one should be stingy to himself/family but at least be able to account for money spent and also increase savings.

2) Be closer to your God : i know this is a normal resolution everyone makes, but somehow it eludes us after maybe a few weeks in the new year. The key here is taking it one step at a time. If you don't read your bible, start by reading it 3 or 4 times a week, pay more attention in church, improve on your relationships with people, pay your tithes and have faith in God.

3) manage your time better : sometimes its not all about having time or not.. But if you love something, you can CREATE time for it. Set aside time for friends, for work, for recreation and relaxation, you'd be surprised at how happy you can become knowing that your life is going according to plan.

4)Read more :knowledge they say is power, read newspapers, journals, magazines even online you have access to tons of information, make it a point of duty to learn something new each day. You never know where that knowledge can be your saving grace.

5) Dress better : it doesn't take much to dress well, especially University students. Try to appear decent at all times.

6) stop procrastination
